800-hour Yoga Therapist Training
Program Dates
This foundation training year will be held at primarily Pinnacle Therapy Services (PIN) in Princeton, New Jersey.
This program takes place over two years time. The first year is foundational and consists of 300 hours of training.
The second year is more clinically focused and consists of the remaining 500 hours which includes mentored practicum hours as well, taking place at the Himalayan Institute.
Here are the dates for the first foundational year of the Princeton training running from March 2017 through Febuary 2018: The 2017 dates are: March 14, March 18 & 19, April 8 & 9, April 29 & 30, May 13, May 20 & 21, June 10 & 11, June 25 & 26, July 29 & 30, August 12 & 13, September 16 & 17, September 30 & October 1, October 14 & 15, October 28 & 29, November 18 & 19, December 10 & 11. The 2018 dates are: January 6 & 7, January 27 & 28, February 3 & 4, and February 25.

Foundation Year Program Location
The Advanced Training
The second calendar year of this 800-hour professional yoga therapist training takes place primarily in the Princeton, New Jersey area, with two residential segments at the Himalayan Institute, located just outside of Honesdale, Pennsylvania.
Assigned homework, practice teaching, mentored yoga therapy practicum sessions, online work, and additional studies take place between course segments to support progress.

Advanced Program Clinical Principles and Practice Residencies at the Himalayan Institute
2019: April 3-7 (5 full days) and September 11-15 (5 full days).
Advanced Year Program Additional Location
The Himalayan Institute's beautiful 400-acre campus is nestled in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains. Its picturesque views, scenic hiking trails, contemplative atmosphere, and peaceful natural setting support focus and integration of coursework.
109 guest rooms are available with a range of single, double, deluxe, and apartment-sized accommodations. Three fresh, nutritionally and ayurvedically balanced vegetarian meals are served daily, and the Sacred Grove Café has beverages and snacks with plenty of delicious vegan and gluten-free options, with free wifi.
The PureRejuv Wellness Center offers various types of massage, chiropractic treatments, biofeedback, and one-on-one consultations with its integrative medical staff. A dedicated meditation hall (The Sri Vidya Shrine) is open for meditation practice to program participants at various times throughout the day.
